Getting Online
Step
five entails getting online for the world to view your hard work.
You will need a domain and host. A domain (i.e. .com, .net, .org,
.edu, and .gov) is like a catch phrase, an easy way for your visitors
to find and remember your site. The domain will then point to the
host, where your actual website and related data is stored. For
example, www.Delta.com, the homepage of Delta
Airlines, is the domain name as opposed to the IP address, 205.174.16.50,
which is where the data resides. Both send you to the same site,
but one is a lot easier to remember. You should secure your domain
name as soon as possible because if you wait to register your name
it could be grabbed up by some one else. Click

Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible
on the Internet. If you need web hosting, checkout out our Web Hosting
Resources.

with web hosting and domain name registration, visit Hoover
